Measure the height of the flat weld seam: First, align the undercut ruler to zero, tighten the screws, and then slide the height ruler to contact the welding point. The indicated value of the height ruler is the height of the weld seam.
Measure the height of the fillet weld, use the working surface of the ruler to lean against the weldment and weld seam, and slide the height ruler to contact the other side of the weldment. Look at the indicator line of the height ruler, and the indicated value is the weld seam height.
Measurement of fillet welds: The welding point at 45 ° is the thickness of the fillet weld. Firstly, place the working surface of the main body tightly against the welding piece and slide the height gauge to contact the welding point. The value indicated by the height gauge is the thickness of the weld seam
Measure the undercut depth of the weld seam: First, align the height ruler with the zero position, tighten the screws, and then use the undercut ruler to measure the undercut depth. The indicated value of the undercut ruler is the undercut depth.
Measure the width of the weld seam: First, use the main body to measure the angle on one side of the weld seam, then rotate the measuring angle of the multimeter to measure the angle on the other side of the weld seam, and observe the indicated value on the multimeter to determine the width of the weld seam.
Measure the groove angle of the weldment: According to the required groove angle of the weldment, use a master ruler and a multipurpose ruler to match. Look at the angle formed by the working surface of the main ruler and the working surface of the multi-purpose ruler. The value indicated by the indicator line of the multi-purpose ruler is the groove angle.
